Saxis Island Museum Videos

We are in the process of developing a series of videos depicting the culture and way of life of Saxis Island through video recordings of the residents of the town. The first recording in this collection is a video recording of Elsworth Linton of Saxis making a crab net at his home.

Barrier Islands Center Documentary Films

The Barrier Islands Center has produced a series of incredible documentary films in partnership with Academy Award-nominated Filmmaker James Spione.  While these films do not have Saxis Island as the supject matter, they do represent the lifestyles and traditions of the people of the Eastern Shore of Virginia and Saxis Island.
